The procedure for checking the length of service according to the service records of a seaman has been launched in SE «Morrichservice» and the first documents on the confirmed length of service should be received by seamen as early as next week. This news was shared by representatives of the USU.

The USU said that they do not see serious problems and violations in the acceptance of seafarers' documents for confirmation of service, but they note that over this short period, many errors have already been identified in filling out the PCM by the seafarers themselves, as well as inconsistencies in the instructions for filling out the page

The most common mistakes sailors make when filling out the RMB:

dates are indicated in numbers, and not in the format indicated on the 2nd page of the book (correct September 21, 2021, not 09/21/2021);
worldwide, and not specific ports and navigation areas;
Ship's Official number is not specified, but only IMO number;
corrections — if there are corrections, then you need to rewrite the entire page, as indicated on page 2 (examples of unaccepted corrections are in the photo);
not a printed font, i.e. illegible handwriting (this requirement is also indicated in Art. 2).

The sailors were asked to fill out the RMB themselves and be careful when filling out the official document in order to avoid problems with its further receipt.
